What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Puppeteering

When we moved, we lost our doorway puppet theatre.  Fact is- children using tension rods as swords will almost never end well and the puppet theatre was the sorry victim of such violence.

The puppets were forgotten about for a time.

Last week though, they were brought back to life with a makeshift theatre and there have been several performances since.

Maybe I ought to go get another tension rod?

Tinkerbell is hilarious. (that is Tink isn't it?)
I'll have to scare up pictures of the marionettes we made for a play when I was 13. (Maybe I'll get them up later today, but don't hold your breath)

So cute, and I don't know, I kinda like the make-shift version...

i love puppets and kids together..

another idea i saw on pinterest was to put hooks in the ceiling and tabs in the cloth and hang it up...you can even roll it up and velcro it shut when not in use...i keep wanting to do that for dd above her bed..that way the kids can "set" up on the bed and we can watch in front....just a thought

so....what are you making the littles for xmas..it's one of my favorite parts is watching all your creations
